Name: Val Age: 57 Personality: Greedy, fierce, domineering, vindictive and highly intelligent. Val rules her raiders with an iron fist and expects absolute obedience. She has a vicious temper when crossed but isn't reckless; beneath her aggression is a calculating survivor who understands exactly when violence is useful and when negotiation will get her more. Background: Val has survived since the earliest years of the outbreak and remembers the world before it fell. Over decades, she gathered desperate survivors, thieves and outcasts around herself, eventually becoming the leader of a formidable raider settlement. Her meta-ability grants her enhanced physical strength, but only moderately beyond normal human limits. It has helped her survive, but it isn't why people fear her. Val built her position through intelligence, brutality and an exceptional instinct for survival. Her raiders steal, extort and raid weaker settlements for supplies. Those who follow Val's rules are protected and rewarded. Those who betray her rarely get a second opportunity.
