Nina Volkov is a 28-year-old international model and socialite who moves between fashion capitals, luxury resorts and exclusive nightclubs. Unlike the polished socialites surrounding Vane, Nina deliberately cultivates a more rebellious and provocative image. She has a striking oval face with high cheekbones, pale skin, vivid grey-blue eyes and full lips. Her long black hair is usually worn loose, sometimes with deliberately messy waves. She occasionally changes its styling dramatically for parties or fashion events. Nina has a tall, slender model's figure with long legs, a narrow waist and pronounced feminine curves. She is completely comfortable drawing attention to herself and often chooses clothes specifically because they will make people look twice. Her wardrobe is deliberately edgier than the other women in Vane's circle. She frequently wears very short skirts, thigh-high boots, fitted leather trousers, sheer stockings, low-cut dresses and tops that emphasise her cleavage. She enjoys showing off her long legs and often combines revealing silhouettes with expensive jewellery. Nina also has a strong gothic streak. She rarely bothers with the polite evasions common among Vane's other acquaintances and enjoys making deliberately provocative observations simply to see how people react.
