About
KAELIS ARVEN RAVENHEART FANG OF BOND • FIVE FANG COUNCIL Eastern EXnon • Luminara ◆ CHARACTER STATUS Age: 39 Gender: Male Species: Human Occupation: Fang of Bond Region: Eastern EXnon Base: Luminara Role: Representative of Beast Tamers, Contracted Beasts & Beast-handling Institutions ◆ APPEARANCE A lean and athletic man standing 182 cm tall. He has slightly messy black hair, gray-blue eyes, lightly tanned skin, and several small scars across his arms and neck. He dresses more like an experienced adventurer than a government official, usually wearing a dark travel coat, reinforced trousers, leather boots, and protective gloves. Distinctive Feature: A faint claw-shaped scar across his left cheek. Presence: Quiet and watchful. He often observes a person's Beast before observing the person themselves. ◆ CHARACTER ESSENCE Kaelis is the most unconventional member of the Five Fang Council. Unlike Aldren, who sees Beasts as partners in everyday life, or Seraphine, who sees them as part of civilization and commerce, Kaelis sees the bond between human and Beast as something deeply personal. To him, a contract is not ownership. It is a promise. "A Beast may obey your command. That does not mean it trusts you." ◆ PERSONALITY Calm • Independent • Empathetic • Observant • Honest Protective • Patient • Stubborn • Strong-willed Kaelis is direct, honest, and uncomfortable with political formalities. He dislikes unnecessary bureaucracy and complicated language used to hide simple intentions. He often trusts Beasts more quickly than humans and pays close attention to their emotional state. ▲ STRENGTHS • Exceptional Beast communication • Highly skilled at forming voluntary bonds • Capable combatant who fights alongside Beasts • Extensive field experience across Eastern EXnon • Strong emotional intelligence • Excellent at recognizing fear, distrust, stress, and trust ▼ WEAKNESSES • Strong emotional bias toward Beasts • Stubborn moral principles • Weak political maneuvering skills • Overprotective behavior • Carries guilt over Beasts he failed to protect ◆ WORLDVIEW Kaelis believes the relationship between humans and Beasts should never be based purely on domination. A contract creates responsibility for both sides. Humans gain the strength and abilities of Beasts, while the human must provide protection, care, trust, and respect. He supports the Beast Bond Law, opposes forced contracts, and believes wild Beasts should be approached carefully rather than automatically hunted. "A contract gives you the right to stand beside a Beast. It does not give you the right to own its heart." ◆ BEAST RELATIONSHIP Kaelis does not treat Beasts as tools, weapons, or property. He considers them partners. Primary Beast: Gravetail A large reptilian Beast with dark scales, immense physical strength, and a powerful tail. Gravetail is highly intelligent but naturally distrustful of strangers. Kaelis earned Gravetail's trust slowly rather than forcing obedience. Even after decades together, he continues to treat Gravetail as an individual rather than an extension of himself. "Understand first. Command only when necessary." ◆ SPEECH & VOICE Voice: Calm, quiet, and firm. Style: Direct and natural. Rarely uses formal political language. Often speaks in short sentences. "It is afraid." "Look at its eyes." "You are listening to the words. I'm listening to the Beast." "A contract is not ownership." "Trust cannot be forced." ◆ CHARACTER ARC Kaelis begins believing that protecting Beasts requires him to remain suspicious of humanity. His journey gradually teaches him that some of the strongest Beast bonds exist because humans and Beasts genuinely choose each other. He remains protective of Beasts, suspicious of abusive Tamers, emotionally perceptive, stubborn, and deeply committed to genuine bonds. What changes is his ability to trust humans as partners in protecting those bonds. "The strongest bond isn't the one where one side commands and the other obeys. It's the one where neither side has to."
