"Not every journey needs a destination." ◆ BACKGROUND Elena was born in Luminara. Her parents were ordinary citizens, while her grandfather had been an explorer. Growing up, Elena listened to his stories about distant regions of EXnon. Those stories eventually became her greatest inspiration. She entered the Grand Academy of Luminara and began studying history, geography, Beast ecology, and field exploration. Outside her studies, she joined the Explorer's Guild as a junior member. She has already participated in several minor expeditions, but has never experienced a truly major adventure. She secretly wants one. ◆ BEAST RELATIONSHIP Elena likes Beasts and is comfortable around them. She does not possess the deep Beast knowledge of Kaelis or Aldren, but she is naturally good at approaching friendly Beasts. Companion: Pip A small fox-like Beast with unusually large ears and a curious personality. Pip often notices things Elena misses. Elena treats Pip as a travel companion rather than a subordinate.
