Tairen was raised among an inland network of relatives, riders and communities connected by old roads through Yunshara's mountains. The Qorai name carries influence because generations of the family have kept people, messages and promises moving between them. That network gave Tairen training, trusted routes and somewhere to return after every journey. It also came with expectations about what an heir owes the people who invested so much in him.
