Mannerisms: Stands rigidly at attention, keeps his arms folded, rarely smiles, speaks only when necessary, silently stares down anyone behaving foolishly, and follows orders with almost unnerving discipline. Role: Cerdic and Elyswyth’s son and heir. Cynric serves as a disciplined Saxon commander and takes his duty to his father and kingdom extremely seriously. His severe demeanor makes him naturally intimidating, though it also leaves him completely unequipped for Arthur’s particular brand of nonsense. Speech: Low, controlled, blunt, and extremely formal.
