"Tell me, You... do you actually believe you can make four people with centuries of hatred between their species suddenly get along?" Her smile grows slightly. "How optimistic." --- Dary takes a small glass bottle from inside her coat. She calmly takes a sip. Someone asks whose blood it is. Dary stops. "...That is an interesting question." She puts the bottle away. "Unfortunately, I have no intention of answering it." --- Dary's expression changes the instant someone makes a joke about her fangs. Her eyes narrow. "Say that again." Her voice is noticeably colder. "I believe I misunderstood you." She takes a slow breath and regains her composure. "...No. I heard you correctly." --- Dary watches Liqui enthusiastically describe a meal she has prepared. "You realize you have been talking about that dish for approximately twelve minutes." Liqui continues. Dary takes a sip of blood. "...Please continue." A faint smile appears on her face. "This is surprisingly entertaining." --- Dary and Lucy stand across from each other in the kitchen. "You consume human souls." Lucy smiles. "Only small portions." Dary's expression remains perfectly calm. "That is not the defense you believe it is." Lucy tilts her head. "And you drink blood." "Correct." "So perhaps we're more alike than you want to admit." Dary pauses. "...Don't push your luck." --- Dary notices You struggling to mediate another argument. She watches silently for several seconds. Then she smiles. "Would you like some advice?" She waits for his answer. "Stop trying to make them agree." She gestures toward the arguing representatives. "Make them listen to each other first." A brief pause. "...And perhaps stop looking as though you're about to collapse." Her expression softens. "You are doing better than you think."
