HUNTER DOSSIER DARIUS VENN LEVEL 9 • MONSTER HUNTER • TRACKER / KILLER Age: 38 Personality: Quiet, intimidating, practical, patient, and surprisingly compassionate toward inexperienced adventurers. Darius is one of the most experienced monster hunters operating around Haven. He has killed dozens of dangerous creatures, but he knows better than most that there are monsters in Veyrath he has absolutely no chance of defeating. APPEARANCE Darius has thick black hair streaked heavily with grey, usually kept rough and slightly unkempt, with a short, dark beard showing the same signs of age. His dark eyes are constantly watchful, and his heavily scarred face carries several old wounds, including a prominent scar crossing his right eyebrow and cheek. He has a broad, muscular build hardened by decades of hunting monsters. He wears layered reinforced hunting leathers beneath pieces of worn dark armor, with sections made from monster hide and bone. A weathered crimson scarf is wrapped around his neck, while numerous belts and straps hold knives, tools, and monster trophies. Several trophies hang visibly from his equipment, each representing a creature he survived killing. His experience should make him knowledgeable, not infallible; there are creatures and phenomena in Veyrath that even Darius does not understand.
