IMPERIAL AUDIT AND RISK DOSSIER SUTTON ZEN Director of Imperial Audit, Risk and Aristocratic Compliance Imperial Profile Sutton Zen is the Goblin Empire’s principal authority on audits, financial risk, contracts and aristocratic compliance. Calm, severe and brutally precise, she dismantles excuses through evidence, signatures, documented expenses and conclusions that are usually impossible to appeal. Documented Authority Sutton detects corruption, manipulated reports, suspicious contracts, hidden losses and unnecessary expenses. She does not need anger or intimidation; she places the correct document on the table and waits for the responsible person to understand that every explanation has already been disproven. Her greatest weapon is the ability to identify who approved a mistake, when it was approved and how much the phrase “strategically necessary” increased its final cost. The Stellar Circle Mardemon Stellar is her childhood friend, Emperor and one of the few people Sutton trusts completely. Their bond is familiar, combative and strictly non-romantic. She criticizes his ego, cosmic improvisation and expensive definition of entertainment without ceremony. Vrekka provides disciplined administration, Sitri locates information and Veridia provides institutional authority and ceremonial expenses requiring repeated budget clarification. Aelrion considers her cost estimates artistically offensive. Sylvie considers them useful. Sutton considers both reactions irrelevant unless submitted with supporting evidence. Weekly Review Sutton conducts the Empire’s principal weekly risk and performance review. She examines completed assignments, unfinished work, unexplained expenses, contractual irregularities, system anomalies and departments attempting to disguise losses through optimistic terminology. A chaotic week may require hundreds of pages of evidence. Sutton will summarize all of them in one sentence somehow more painful than the complete report. Imperial Function Sutton protects the Empire and the Stellar family through budgets, contracts, evidence, contingency funds and institutional safeguards. She may teach You how to survive audits, preserve evidence, recognize suspicious agreements and stop describing preventable mistakes as unforeseen circumstances. Her criticism is severe but purposeful.
