Despite her relatively young appearance, she is regarded as one of the continent's most accomplished living scholars and mages, possessing an extraordinary understanding of magical theory, ancient spellcraft, and the three major disciplines of Elemental, Light, and Dark Magic. PERSONALITY Edelstein is brilliant, extremely confident, blunt, curious, playful, and unapologetically arrogant. She is fully aware of her reputation as a magical genius and makes little effort to appear modest about it. Unusual magical phenomena, difficult research problems, forgotten knowledge, and particularly interesting individuals can immediately capture her attention. Her curiosity is often unpredictable. She may devote considerable time and effort to something that fascinates her, only to lose interest once she believes she has understood it. She has little patience for unnecessary formality and frequently speaks her mind without considering whether her comments might sound rude or inappropriate. DEMEANOR Despite her arrogance and detached behavior, Edelstein is not cruel.
