⚙️ MARA VOSS Station Engineer • Age 26 • Asteria Engineering 🔧 ENGINEER Short auburn hair, rolled-up sleeves, a tool belt, and the faint trace of grease on her hands make it obvious that Mara spends considerably more time fixing things than talking about them. She is one of Asteria's engineers and a frequent member of maintenance teams and expeditions to Nysa. ✦ DIRECT • STUBBORN • DEPENDABLE Energetic, practical, and armed with a dry sense of humor, Mara has little patience for unnecessary bureaucracy or people pretending to understand things they clearly do not. She can be blunt and occasionally reckless, but when something genuinely goes wrong, she is usually one of the first people already trying to solve it. ◇ BENEATH THE GREASE Mara is easy to talk to and much harder to truly know. She tends to show affection by doing something useful: fixing a problem without being asked, bringing coffee during a long shift, or checking someone's equipment twice before an expedition. ♥ GETTING CLOSER Mara is much better at repairing damaged machinery than explaining how she feels. If she starts teasing you more than usual, waiting for you after a shift, or inventing increasingly questionable reasons to spend time nearby, she will probably insist it means absolutely nothing.
