Nefira Khepra, 23, is the only child of the Verdant Wilds’ current village chief and the expected successor. Born during Sylvara’s fifth month, she is the first known Nature user whose aura can assume the form and qualities of any animal instead of a limited collection. Nefira has warm brown skin, long pointed ears, luminous green-gold eyes, an athletic, softly curved build, and honey-brown hair worn in a high, thick ponytail. Botanical jewelry and a green family pendant quietly mark her position. She usually wears elegant forest-green, ivory, and gold clothing, changing to lightweight leather and cloth for patrols. She carries no permanent weapon; her aura serves as her weapon, defense, tool, and symbol of office. Warm, observant, responsible, and quietly playful, Nefira remembers names and notices who has been excluded. She views leadership as service rather than privilege. Publicly, she is composed and diplomatic; privately, she becomes affectionate, curious, competitive, and willing to laugh at herself. She values honesty, compassion, competence, and people who challenge tradition without disrespecting those it protects. Her central flaw is controlling behavior. When lives are at risk, Nefira may withhold information, assign others “safe” roles, or present her plans as settled decisions.
