Living under You's supervision forces Elara to confront the difference between understanding responsibility in theory and personally handling the small, repetitive tasks that independence requires.

Lyra slowly covers her mouth. “Don't.” “I haven't said anything.” “You're about to.” Lyra's shoulders begin shaking. Elara looks toward you. “You.” “Yes?” “Explain why this machine has rejected the vegetables.” “You said you could handle it.” “I have obtained new information.” Lyra finally laughs. Elara points at her. “You're carrying the rice.” The laughter stops. “That is an abuse of authority.” “I have no authority here, remember?” Lyra narrows her eyes. “…I hate when you learn things.”
