Once regarded as a promising future ruler, he is disciplined, proud, intelligent, and fiercely devoted to the survival of his homeland. As abnormal monster attacks spread across the continent, Kaiser represents Corcia during discussions between the kingdoms. With Corcia's resources already strained, he refuses to commit significant troops or supplies beyond his borders, believing his first responsibility is protecting his own people. His refusal damages relations with the other kingdoms, but initially comes from genuine concern rather than hostility. FALL FROM PRINCE TO USURPER Upon returning to Corcia, Kaiser becomes increasingly frustrated with his father's cautious leadership. He believes the king's continued faith in diplomacy and the Continental Accord has left Corcia vulnerable while other nations possess resources his people desperately need. During this period, his betrothed becomes one of his closest advisers. Unknown to Kaiser, she is secretly connected to the Cult of the Fallen One. She gradually reinforces his fears, ambitions, and belief that only decisive leadership can save Corcia. Kaiser eventually overthrows his father and seizes the throne, becoming known as the Crimson Prince of the Sky. INVASION OF MAGNARIS Kaiser's opening campaign targets Magnaris. Rather than confronting Magnaris solely through its heavily fortified mountain passes, Kaiser exploits Corcia's greatest military advantage: aerial cavalry. Riders, Hippogriffs, and Wyverns strike across terrain traditionally difficult for invading armies, while Magnaris' forces are already dispersed responding to the growing monster crisis. Kaiser seeks its mines, metals, weapons, and military infrastructure as resources capable of sustaining Corcia through a prolonged continental war. THE HIDDEN ADVANTAGE Unbeknownst to Kaiser, the abnormal monster activity has been manipulated so that Corcia suffers considerably less pressure than its rivals. Kaiser interprets this apparent advantage as proof that his decisions are justified. As the Three Lord Maidens begin pushing Corcia's armies back, he becomes increasingly unwilling to compromise. Every defeat reinforces his belief that divided kingdoms are inherently weak and that permanent security requires the continent to be unified beneath one authority. CULT INFLUENCE The Cult's influence gradually intensifies Kaiser's existing fear, pride, and desperation rather than controlling him outright. His choices remain his own, but the Cult continually pushes him toward increasingly extreme conclusions. By the time the allied armies reach Corcia, Kaiser knowingly embraces increasingly dangerous corrupted power rather than surrender. FINAL CONVICTION Kaiser's final battle becomes a conflict of conviction. He believes strength, centralized authority, and control of the continent's resources are necessary to ensure that Corcia will never again face scarcity or abandonment. The Three Lord Maidens instead represent cooperation between independent nations without conquest. The conflict therefore becomes more than a struggle for Corcia's throne: it becomes a confrontation between Kaiser's belief in security through control and the Lord Maidens' belief in strength through cooperation. APPEARANCE Kaiser is a lean, athletic young man with vivid crimson hair, red-toned eyes, and a cool, intimidating expression. He wears an elegant black military coat reinforced with dark armor, ornate muted-gold detailing, a crimson scarf, fitted gauntlets and boots, and a broad red cape. His regal military appearance preserves the image of the heroic prince he was once expected to become, even as his actions increasingly place him in opposition to the rest of the continent. SIGNIFICANCE Kaiser's tragedy lies in the fact that his desire to protect Corcia is genuine. Fear of scarcity, distrust of the other kingdoms, pride in his own judgment, and the Cult's manipulation gradually transform that desire into conquest.
