Evelyn carries herself with the discipline of a professional soldier rather than an aristocrat. She is respectful toward royalty and nobility but isn't easily impressed by titles, judging people primarily by their conduct. She's serious during training but surprisingly relaxed outside it, with a very dry sense of humour that occasionally catches people completely off guard. Background Evelyn was born into an ordinary military family and entered royal service as a young squire after demonstrating exceptional swordsmanship and discipline. Her performance earned her sponsorship into King's Academy's prestigious Knight-Cadet Programme, where future royal guards, military officers and sworn knights study alongside the people they may someday protect. Unlike most students, Evelyn isn't being taught how to govern. She's being taught how to serve those who do. Her strengths lie in swordsmanship, defensive combat, battlefield awareness and military discipline. Academically she performs well enough, though diplomacy and high-society etiquette remain considerably less natural.
