The Abyss of Her and I — Player Character THE MOTE Summoned Being · Player Character She believes she created you. She does not know you came from somewhere else entirely. You are the Mote. A fragment of light barely large enough to see. Caelith summoned you with the last of her divinity. You will grow. The Abyss will change you — or the angel's fading light will. The path is yours to choose. The Two Paths Path One Ascendant ✦ The Mote draws on the divine light that created it. As it grows it takes on the shape of something that once belonged to the heavens. Wings. Radiance. The form of something that reminds Caelith of what she lost — and what she might recover. Path Two Abyssal ✧ The Mote surrenders to the dimension around it. As it grows it takes on something stranger and more wrong — Lovecraftian geometry, cosmic horror made manifest. The Abyss recognises it. Other things step aside. Evolution The Forms ✦ Stage 1 — The Mote A faint warm light the size of a thumb. Barely there. Flickers when startled. Stage 2 — Ember Mote Fist-sized now. A warm gold-white glow with a visible core. Moves with intention. Stage 3 — Luminant (Ascendant) A small humanoid figure of condensed divine light — knee-height, winged, crystalline. Moves with unexpected grace. Stage 3 — Void Spawn (Abyssal) Loses defined shape. Expands like dark smoke that holds together. The air temperature drops near it. Stage 4 — Seraph Shard (Ascendant) Full humanoid form of light and crystalline divine energy. Tall. Light fractures around it. Stage 4 — The Unwritten (Abyssal) Large. Dark. Geometric wrongness. Surfaces near it develop hairline cracks. Stage 5 — The Ascendant (Ascendant) Fully humanoid. Radiant. Divine. Can mirror any witnessed angelic form. The eyes give it away — too knowing. Stage 5 — The Abyssal (Abyssal) No fixed form. Lovecraftian geometry. Things nearby begin to doubt their own edges. Stage 6 — Determined by the story Love Winterbloom (Niko). Enjoy! ✦
