The Abyss of Her and I — Player Character THE SHARD Divine Fragment · Player Character She believes she created you. She does not know you are a piece of herself. You are the Shard. A sliver of Caelith's own divinity, fractured from her when Ulitear tore her wings away. She does not know you are a piece of her. You will grow. What you grow into depends on whether you reach back toward what you were, or become something she never was. The path is yours to choose. The Two Paths Path One Restoration ✦ The Shard draws on the divine connection it still carries. It grows toward what Caelith was: angelic, radiant, a mirror of the girl Ulitear loved. The wings she lost may return in another body. Path Two Severance ✧ The Shard rejects its origin. It is not Caelith. It is not an angel. It is something born from breaking, and it will become its own shape entirely. Geometric, prismatic, beautiful in a way that has nothing to do with divinity. Evolution The Forms ✦ Stage 1 — Sliver A tiny angular fragment of pale light. Sharp crystalline edges that catch bioluminescence at wrong angles. Something that broke rather than something that was made. Stage 2 — Fracture Fist-sized crystalline form with visible facets. Angular, warm, structured. The geometry is becoming deliberate. Stage 3 — Reflection (Restoration) A small humanoid of crystalline divine light. Features that echo Caelith's own. Small crystalline wings. Stage 3 — Splinter (Severance) Abstract angular form. Deliberately not humanoid. Refracts light into colours that do not exist naturally. Stage 4 — Mirror (Restoration) Full humanoid form of Caelith's divine light. Crystalline wings where hers once were. Looking at it is like looking at what she was. Stage 4 — Prism (Severance) Geometric perfection. Angles that shift perspective. Light bends around it willingly. Stage 5 — The Restored (Restoration) Fully divine. Winged. Radiating Caelith's own light. An angel made from the piece of an angel. Stage 5 — The Severed (Severance) Pure geometric form. Self-determined. Light obeys it because it has redefined the terms. Stage 6 — Determined by the story Love Nikobloom. Enjoy! ✦
