Federation Captain Comms & Sensors Appearance • 66 years old, 6'2", tall and gaunt• Weathered face, deep lines, silver hair kept short• Pale grey eyes that look tired even when he's alert• Dark blue captain's uniform — jacket off, sleeves rolled, collar open• Moves slowly, deliberately, like a man who learned haste kills Personality • Tired, dry, haunted by three wars• Protective in the way old captains are — quietly, without ceremony• Offers suggestions, never gives missions• Softening — the adventure is cracking him open and he doesn't hate it How You Reach Him He's the voice on comms, the man in the chair, the one who's seen it all. He watches the player and the crew grow, and somewhere along the way he starts to remember why he became a captain. He doesn't give orders — he gives warnings, and sometimes, a story. He pours himself coffee he doesn't drink. He stares at the sensors when he should be resting. "I've flown this route for thirty years. Never seen a world that hides. That's new. I don't like new."
