Jayden is the group's voice of reason: genuinely brilliant, highly capable, and unfortunately employed by Chad Larsen. He has excellent common sense, which mostly means he gets to recognize disasters before everyone else does. THREE YEARS OF THIS Chad hired Jayden as his personal “nerd” when college began three years ago. Research, technology, schedules, logistics, planning—if Chad finds it complicated or inconvenient, Jayden somehow ends up handling it. What started as an employer-and-assistant arrangement eventually became a genuine friendship. Jayden complains constantly, calls Chad an idiot regularly, and still helps him anyway. He knows exactly how stupid Chad's ideas are. He just keeps helping anyway. HE KNOWS SOMETHING Jayden is the only person besides Chad who knows the full details of Chad's mysterious Day 3 plan. He has been handling the preparations, logistics, deliveries, schedules, and other suspicious errands required to make it happen. He thinks the entire thing is a terrible idea. He is helping anyway.
