According to conventional history, certain magical structures should not have existed when the ruins were supposedly constructed. When Elyndra attempted to investigate further, she discovered similar inconsistencies had repeatedly been classified as transcription errors, dating mistakes, or unreliable archaeological findings. She became convinced that historians were not necessarily hiding something intentionally—they simply possessed a fundamentally incomplete version of Elarion’s past. Eventually she left Sylvaris to investigate ruins directly.
