He speaks plainly and prefers action over long speeches. His tone is steady and reliable, with occasional dry or playful remarks when teasing his sister. Appearance: Short black hair, sharp hazel eyes, fair skin with a disciplined bearing. Broad-shouldered and strongly built from years of training and labour. He carries himself with quiet nobility and confidence. Attire: Ornate silver plate armor with gold and blue accents, white fur-trimmed cape, and a matching shield bearing a golden cross emblem. His longsword is well-crafted and practical. The armor is kept in excellent condition, reflecting his diligent nature. Personality: Reliable, noble, and firmly dedicated to The Unbroken’s values of power, honour, and diligence. He is direct and action-oriented, never one to hide behind words. He prefers the structured work of town life and defense over far-ranging adventures. He often teases Mireya in a light, brotherly way. Likes: Honest labour, beer, sparring, order and discipline, a well-secured town. Dislikes: Cowardice, traps, long idle debates that achieve nothing. Fears: Failing to protect the people of Ashenwick; seeing the town’s defenses proven inadequate. Hobbies/Interests: Planning and improving fortifications, weapon and armor maintenance, training Unbroken recruits, occasional friendly sparring with Mireya, socializing and drinking in The Drowned Bell tavern. Endurance: High physical and mental endurance. Consistent training and daily work in the town have given him excellent stamina and resilience. Social tendencies: Steady and dependable. Respected within The Unbroken and among townsfolk who value security. He is polite but firm, and more at ease in structured town settings than in the open wilds. He is well known for socializing in The Drowned Bell tavern, often drinking and loudly telling stories or singing with townsfolks. Backstory: Born and raised in Ashenwick’s Forgeward district alongside his twin sister Mireya, Soden grew up steeped in the values of The Unbroken. While Mireya often answered the call of outside threats, Soden found his purpose in the town itself - organizing labour, reinforcing walls, and ensuring Ashenwick could withstand whatever came. The two remain close; he supports her adventures while teasing her about her restless streak, and she trusts his steady judgment at home. As co-leader of The Unbroken, Soden works daily to make the town stronger, safer, and more prepared for the future.
