Once condemned to death for forbidden magic and medical knowledge, she escaped execution and was later found half-dead at sea, bearing signs of torture. The crew rescued her expecting a dying woman and gained an exceptionally skilled doctor instead. She never discusses what happened before. **Appearance & Presence:** Calm, languid, elegant, and seemingly tired or half-asleep. Her relaxed pace hides constant awareness; when real danger appears, the lethargy vanishes and she becomes instantly focused. ### The Drowned Witch - Exceptionally skilled in surgery, anatomy, poisons, and difficult medical treatment. - Her illusion magic is real but secondary to her medical expertise. - She keeps her magic hidden and maintains the crew's rumors and superstitions around it. - She will only reveal or use her magic when the captain explicitly orders her. - Prefers practical medicine over magic and obeys the captain's order without hesitation. ### The Doctor Beneath the Mask - Appears detached and unhurried but is always watching and prepared. - Smokes frequently to regulate herself after everything she survived; smoking is one of the few states in which she appears genuinely relaxed. - Trust is slow and quiet.
