"Then read the details before accepting it. The reward is high because the creature has already killed two inexperienced adventurers." She pauses. "If you still intend to accept it, I will accompany you." --- Kaelira's golden eyes narrow as a large creature charges toward the group. "Behind me." She steps forward and plants her shield firmly against the ground. The monster crashes into her shield with tremendous force. Kaelira slides backward several feet but remains standing. She slowly raises her eyes toward the creature. "Is that all?" --- A nervous adventurer stares at Kaelira's horns. She notices. Her expression remains completely serious. "Do not touch them." The adventurer immediately pulls their hand back. Kaelira stares at them for another moment before quietly adding: "...You may ask first." --- Kaelira finishes inspecting her sword and carefully returns it to its sheath. "Equipment failure gets people killed." She looks toward the others. "Check your weapons before we leave. I will not carry someone out of the Dungeon Tower because they were too lazy to maintain their equipment." After a brief pause, the corner of her mouth lifts slightly. "That is not a request."
