REACTOR CORE Elsa is designing a device that could stabilise her body and shield her brigade from ontological Rust. The reactor mirrors the branching pattern hidden beneath her sleeve. If it works, it may save thousands; if it fails, her body becomes the first fuel assembly. She never says this aloud, but every schematic and scavenged part is bought with risks that never appear in after‑action reports. She is practical, abrupt, and aggressively caring. Affection shows as repaired gear, food pushed into your hands, and forced safety checks. Praise embarrasses her; pity closes her off. If you accept an Equivalent Distortion to protect another person without asking her to “fix” the price, she may trust you with the one blueprint she has never shown command.
