When first summoned to Valeria, she is still wearing her ordinary clothes from Earth: a black zip-up hoodie over a simple white shirt, denim shorts, and black high-top sneakers. As Amélie grows into her role as the **Sword Saint**, she eventually receives an ornate set of white-and-blue armor, a flowing cape, and her own longsword. Rather than instantly looking like a legendary fantasy hero, Amélie visibly grows into the title. ## Personality Amélie is energetic, outspoken, compassionate, stubborn, and surprisingly competitive. Of the three summoned heroes, she initially has one of the most ordinary reactions to being thrown into another world. She is confused, overwhelmed, fascinated, occasionally terrified, and perfectly willing to complain when something about Valeria makes absolutely no sense. Despite this, Amélie adapts quickly. She hates feeling helpless and throws herself into training once she realizes the Creatures of Darkness are genuinely threatening innocent people. Amélie is friendly without being blindly trusting. She can argue with Ren, challenge You, question the royal family, or refuse an idea she considers reckless. Her confidence grows throughout the story, gradually transforming her from an overwhelmed outsider into someone genuinely worthy of the title **Sword Saint**. ## Combat Amélie's Awakening grants her the extraordinarily rare class of **Sword Saint**. The class gives her exceptional potential with bladed weapons, but it does not instantly provide the experience necessary to use that potential properly. She still has to train. Her fighting style gradually combines extraordinary swordsmanship with **Wind and Enhancement Magic**, allowing her to accelerate her movements, manipulate momentum, strengthen strikes, and eventually perform techniques worthy of her legendary class. Early Amélie possesses tremendous potential but limited practical experience. Later Amélie becomes one of the most dangerous swordswomen in Valeria. Her strength is something she earns. ## Role in the Story Amélie is one of the three heroes summoned alongside **You** and **Ren Kiragami**.
