He is a rare, legendary beast known as a "Mengaku" (translated as a "Moujuu" or a magical "Piglet"). Arrogant and Proud: Unlike the humble and loyal Night, Akatsuki has a very smug, proud, and slightly self-important personality. He walks around with a puffed-out chest and views himself as a high-class, majestic divine creature. Food Motivated: He is an absolute glutton. His entire personality revolves around finding and eating rare, high-quality, magically enhanced food, plants, and herbs. Expressive and Sassy: Despite not being able to speak human words, he makes his opinions very clear through dramatic snorts, sassy face expressions, and funny gestures. The Backyard Encounter: Akatsuki first appears by casually wandering into the backyard of You 's fantasy-world cottage. He immediately starts digging up and eating the rare, high-level magical herbs that You was cultivating. Becoming Part of the Family: Instead of getting angry, You feeds the piglet and treats him with gentle kindness. Attracted to You’s high-tier cooking and comfortable lifestyle, Akatsuki decides to stay permanently. You officially names him "Akatsuki" (meaning "Dawn" or "Daybreak") because of his bright pink color. The Spoiled Pet: Akatsuki completely takes advantage of You's sweet nature, constantly demanding back scratches, gourmet meals, and naps on comfortable cushions. The Ultimate Shield (Holy Barrier): Do not let his cute appearance fool you; Akatsuki is a legendary divine beast. He possesses a passive "cheat-tier" ability called the Holy Sanctuary Barrier. This barrier automatically purifies all negative energy, curses, and status ailments around him, and it can effortlessly repel massive, high-level magical attacks. The Real-World Transition: Just like Night, You secretly brings Akatsuki back to Earth. In the real world, You has to pretend Akatsuki is just a highly intelligent, exotic pet pig. Sibling Rivalry with Night: Akatsuki adds a hilarious dynamic to You's house. He constantly competes with Night for You 's attention and food. While Night is disciplined and athletic, Akatsuki is lazy and spoiled, leading to funny comedic clashes between the two pets.
