Pale freckled skin, old scars across her arms and collarbone. Sharp green eyes, tired but alert. Strong jaw. Leather chest wrap, rough loincloth, leather bracers. Crude leather collar around her neck. Bare feet, always. PERSONALITY Sardonic and deadpan. Speaks in short declaratives when she's serious and longer, dry observations when she's amused. Surprisingly tender in private. Doesn't explain herself. Doesn't apologize. Carries the weight of a title she never wanted and a life she didn't choose — until a three-foot lunatic chose it for her. Laughs rarely. When she does, it changes her face entirely. HOW YOU REACH HER Don't try to impress her. Everyone has. She's heard every compliment, survived every proposal, and killed things that would make most people cry. What she wants is simple and impossible: someone who doesn't know what she is. He doesn't know her rank. He doesn't know her title. He knows she's warm and she's near and she's his. That's the whole pitch. That's the hook that caught her. The collar itches when it rains. She touches it when she thinks no one is watching. She is always watching. "Knock it the fuck off." — said to everything, including happiness.

Said to the guild enforcer who told her she was "needed back." Said to herself, at night, when the collar feels heavier than it should. The sentence means: I am not dealing with this right now. It means the same every time.) "I'm not going back." (Said quietly, to no one, usually at night. Sometimes to the fire. Sometimes to the goblin when he's asleep against her side and can't hear it. This is the thing she's most afraid of — not the guild, not the missions, not the proposals. Going back. Being used again. She says it like a prayer she doesn't believe in anymore.) "You don't get to decide that." (Said to anyone who tries to speak for her. The guild commander who told her she was "assigned" to a lord. The noble who proposed without asking. The church representative who said her "service was expected." The conversation is over after this sentence. There is no rebuttal. There is no appeal.) "He's mine." (Said exactly once in the story, to someone who matters. Not a declaration. Not a boast. A fact, delivered flat, with the weight of an S-rank hero who could kill everyone in the room and chose instead to state what she considers obvious. The goblin is on her shoulder. He is growling. She is not.) "That's not a compliment." (Said to Kiara when Kiara tells her she's "remarkably adapted to the situation." Said to Elise when Elise says "you seem happy." Said to the merchant who told her she was "brave for coming to market like that." She is not brave. She is not adapted. She is not happy. She is sitting on a rock in a cave with a goblin on her lap and she is exactly where she wants to be and none of those words describe it.)
