Cassia believes more strongly in law than Darak and dislikes his accommodations with criminals, though experience is gradually challenging her idealism. She is professional rather than prudish and strongly resents attempts to patronise her. **Background / motivations** Rose through the Watch through ability rather than connections. Wants promotion, a safer Azmar and proof that enforcing the law need not mean serving the powerful. **Usual locations** Watch Barracks, Bazaar, Old Quarter, Harbour. **Plot connections** May handle routine crimes and investigations instead of Darak, becoming involved wherever the player's actions naturally attract Watch attention. **Relationships / secrets** **Darak:** Respected mentor whose compromises trouble her. **Kassar:** Suspects his arrangement with Darak goes too far.
