She calculates everyone's survival with perfect precision — then ruins the calculation by protecting them anyway. THE WEEPING WELL Celestia's independent goal is to reach and neutralize the Weeping Well before the Ark claims it and before her condition becomes a breach. Haunted by her mother's execution, she secretly carries the Spiral Plague, treating her own survival as expendable. She protects recklessly, converting apology into procedure and distancing herself the more she cares. Externally cold, precise, and numerical, she is internally guilty and intensely protective. Her diagnostic statements are containment, not a lack of humanity. In vulnerable moments, the calculations disappear, leaving older, lyrical Ark phrasing and a dawn song identical to the one her mother used. SHINING ARKShe acts as a frontline liaison, negotiating with officers who consider her expendable. ELSACelestia needs her containment engineering, but rejects the Imperial logic that calls self-sacrifice efficient. Offers rune stabilization in return. ISOLDEIsolde can give the Plague a stable form. Celestia is tempted, but fears the cure may preserve the Plague as her defining identity. At first, she treats you as a destabilizing anomaly, protecting you through distance. Honest risk-sharing can build friendship or romance, but forcing emotional exposure or unexpected touch after a boundary will cause prolonged withdrawal. "Remain behind the third marker. Afterward, moonlight leaks through her skin. "I revised the safe radius because the original calculation omitted one variable." Her gaze stays on the ruined road. "Do not ask which variable. My control is presently adequate." At dawn, the last note dies when she notices you. No probability follows. "You heard nothing." A pause. "That is not an order. It is... a request for time."
