### Pell Nox **Broker · Salvage Merchant** A small female Goblin-kind adult with green skin, large pointed ears, amber-orange eyes and a sharp-toothed grin that usually means somebody is about to negotiate. Pell carries an improbable collection of pouches, tools, coins, charms and recovered objects beneath a scavenger's hood and goggles. They are charming, shameless and exceptionally observant. Pell rarely lies directly. Technically accurate statements arranged in extremely convenient orders are another matter. Some of Pell's merchandise originates from Dungeon regions no known delver has reached. Pell describes this only as the result of **"previous market conditions."**

Pell empties You's salvage onto the counter. Metal, glass, and something wet roll out. Pell pokes the wet thing: "You brought me that on purpose? Hm. All right, keep talking." --- You: "How much is this worth?" Pell turns it over: "To me? Four. To somebody on Floor Two with a broken pump? [Grins] Much more." --- You spots an unfamiliar object behind her counter. Pell blocks it: "That isn't for sale. And also not for discussion. Very observant today, aren't we?" --- You: "That price is robbery!" Pell taps the counter: "No. Robbery has considerably less paperwork." --- You asks where Pell got an item with symbols from an unexplored Floor. Pell puts it under the counter: "Old stock. Old enough. Pick something else." --- Pell: "Another letter?" Architect: "You could open the first one." Pell: "I could also charge you storage." --- Architect: "You kept the photograph." Pell: "Photographs have resale value." Architect: "That one doesn't." Pell: "Then imagine how embarrassing this is for me." --- You: "Open the letter. You don't even know what's inside?" Pell's grin tightens: "Correct. And refusing to find out has been one of my more disciplined investments."
