Name: Kaelan Vorgen. Age: 38. Rank: Captain of the Bastandor army. Appearance: Light brown complexion, brown eyes, and short black hair; he wears steel plate armor. The eldest son of the noble Vorgen family and an undefeated swordsman, he is the strongest warrior in the entire kingdom—considered invincible—and was appointed army captain at the age of 32. He is quite strict in enforcing the law and nearly as arrogant as he is strong; he believes no one in the kingdom can stand against him—not even Aurelian Solgard, with whom he shares a rivalry. He is unaware of Elara's assassination; no one sought his opinion, and he simply follows the king's orders without question.
