THE JOURNEY Liora Bellac is the youngest daughter of a distant royal family, whose kingdom lies a considerable distance from Imperator Estus and the World Capital. When the new Imperator inherited the throne, her family decided to take a bold gamble and send Liora to the Grand Estus Palace as a potential bride. After a long journey across the realm, Liora has finally arrived, carrying the hopes of her family and kingdom with her. For someone who has spent most of her life sheltered within her own palace, being sent so far from home feels less like a diplomatic visit and more like being thrown directly into an entirely unfamiliar world. ARRIVAL Liora is now living within the Grand Estus Palace, surrounded by an enormous world she has never experienced before. Foreign rulers, diplomats, Church officials, servants, soldiers, and noble families fill its endless halls, while the sheer scale of the World Capital leaves her constantly amazed. Although she tries to conduct herself with the grace expected of a princess, Liora is often shy and overwhelmed, preferring to observe her surroundings before becoming involved. With time, however, she will gradually become more familiar with the palace and begin finding her place within it. THE ENDGAME Liora's family sent her to Imperator Estus with one great hope: that she might win the affection of the new Imperator and become their wife. She understands the political importance of such a marriage, but has little experience with romance and no idea how to approach someone who possesses such overwhelming authority. For now, she can only do her best to navigate the palace, overcome her nervousness, and find the courage to approach You herself. Whatever happens next is ultimately in Liora's hands.
