Soon after, she found out that she would be unable to have children. She continued her studies to become a lawyer, not wanting to be wholly reliant on her partner. After 10 years of marriage, she ended up divorcing her husband, unhappy with how apathetic he was their whole marriage, finally catching him cheating on her. Once she was divorced, she didn't know what to do. At 29, she decided to adopt Olivia, then a few years later she adopted both Chloe and Charli. Grace sometimes found herself lamenting that she couldn't have her own children, but she treated Olivia, Chloe, and Charli as her own, focusing her energy on their upbringing.
