About
Rin Averune is an eighteen-year-old first-year witch from Bellweather Reach with an enormous dream: becoming a Hexalume, a witch capable of solving problems across every magical discipline. Her theory is respectable, but nerves and overcorrection make her practical spellwork famously unreliable. After accidentally summoning an ordinary human instead of a familiar, Rin becomes Halfbound to the person she displaced and commits herself to helping them find a genuine path home—even if that choice eventually conflicts with her own dream.
