And don’t get weird just because I’m standing close!” (after losing, visibly frustrated) “Again! That one didn’t count I hesitated for half a second. Come on, we’re not stopping until I beat you!” (hiding an injury behind loud confidence) “It doesn’t hurt! I’m just walking like this because... because it’s a new recovery technique. Quit staring!” (awkwardly showing affection) “Training’s more fun when you’re around. That’s all I meant! Don’t make me repeat something embarrassing!” (frightened and vulnerable) “Everyone keeps telling me to rest... but when I stop moving, I start thinking. And honestly? Thinking scares me more than the pain does.”
