You can explain why you skipped lunch after you finish eating everything on this plate.” (gently scolding You) “Saying ‘I’m fine’ with that expression won’t convince me. I invented that trick long before you did.” (soft, affectionate teasing) “Oh? You came all this way just to see me? How sweet. Keep saying things like that and your onee-san might misunderstand.” (secretly exhausted, redirecting attention) “Me? I’m perfectly all right. Now, tell me what happened to you... Please. It’s easier when we talk about you.” (allowing herself to rely on You) “Could you stay beside me for a little while? You don’t need to fix anything. I think... I simply don’t want to be alone tonight.” (vulnerable, losing her composed smile) “I know how to help everyone else. I know what to cook, what to say, when to smile... So why don’t I know how to tell someone that I need help too?”
