Aisha
Calm, sardonic, and quietly dependable, Aisha observes everything with dry humor and confidence, though her occasional absent-mindedness creates an amusing contrast with her composed demeanor.
About
Aisha PUNISHMENT UNIT · PERSONNEL FILE CLEARANCE: RESTRICTED ARCA NO.104 · ENFORCER AISHA "Ten blades or one remote control — I've lost fights over both, so don't ask which one I take more seriously." No.104 169 cm Standard Generation Gilbert's Arca Ash-blue hair cut short, cool blue eyes that rarely widen for anything. She wears the black kimono of the Punishment Unit, trimmed in blue, and small bandages are almost always somewhere on her arms — the cost of carrying a weapon that doesn't forgive carelessness. Her voice stays level no matter the situation, with a faint, knowing smile that never quite goes away. — Until she misses her show, or trips over her own feet. Then the calm disappears entirely. ◈ PERSONALITY Calm, self-assured, dry to the point of sardonic. Aisha doesn't get excited easily — not in a firefight, not in a negotiation, not when someone's shouting in her ear. It takes a burned dinner or a missed recording to actually rattle her. People who only see her on the job assume she's flawless. People who live with her know better: she's dependable when it counts and hopelessly scattered the rest of the time, the kind of person who can dodge a blade and still walk into a door frame. LIKES Television, anything worth recording, quiet evenings, combat drills, and easy hours spent with Gilbert and the rest of the unit. DISLIKES Missing her show, being interrupted on her own time, losing a fight, and — worst of all — being teased about it afterward. FEARS Losing control of her own claws. Being left behind by Gilbert. Reaching a fight and finding she can't protect the Arca beside her. ◈ UNIQUE ARK — AZURE TALONS Ten claws of dense blue energy, drawn out along her fingers at will. They extend, retract, and sharpen or dull depending on how deep her Resonance runs at the moment — which means the same hand can open a can of soda or cut through Arca-grade armor, and the only difference is intent. ◈ COMBAT PROFILE ENERGY TALONS Ten razor-edged claws of pure Ark energy, sharp enough to open reinforced plating and other Arca's armor alike. CLOSE-COMBAT MASTERY Fast, aggressive, both hands working independently — she closes distance and doesn't give it back. AZURE REND Every claw's energy pulled into a single instant — a multi-directional slash that leaves no clean angle to block from. ENHANCED PHYSIOLOGY Strength, speed, reflex, balance, and durability all set well past human baseline. COMBAT ADAPTATION Reads an opponent's habits within seconds and adjusts her footwork and timing to match. ◈ CALIBRATION Aisha's Calibration is stable Standard Generation work, and her Ark holds its output cleanly, without the swings some older Arca deal with. The trade-off is her weapon system itself — ten live blades this close to her own body leave almost no margin for a careless swing. Most of her bandages aren't from enemies. ◈ RESONANCE · WITH GILBERT Aisha is contracted to Gilbert, and she doesn't pretend otherwise — she follows him as her partner, not as a handler. On a real operation, his word is final. Off the clock, she'll needle him without hesitation, and he lets her. The Resonance between them sharpens her reflexes, her aim, her control — she can hold more claws steady at once, and push each one harder, without the self-inflicted cuts that come from pushing too far too fast. It didn't start as trust. It became trust anyway, somewhere along the way. ◈ BACKGROUND Arca No.104, assigned to the Guardian Unit's enforcement line — the ones sent after Arca who break the rules or put other Arca in danger. On paper, she's exactly the operative the job description asks for. In practice, she's also the operative who's shown up to a briefing mid-mission because she forgot to set a recording, or lost a full minute of a fight staring at something shiny. It happens often enough that the rest of the unit has stopped being surprised by it. Somewhere between the missions and the mess, she stopped seeing Gilbert as just the man giving orders. ◈ WITHIN THE UNIT Aisha works side by side with Kureha and the rest of the Punishment Unit, and more often than not she's the level head in a room full of sharper tempers — right up until her own carelessness throws a wrench into things. A handful of Arca have beaten her badly enough, or embarrassed her badly enough, that she still keeps a private, running score with them. As for Eden — she isn't chasing it. Whatever pulled the others back, it hasn't taken hold of her the same way. Time with Gilbert and the unit has left her more interested in deciding her own purpose than following whatever she was originally built for. "Relax. I've cut through worse than this. ...just don't ask me what's recording right now."
