About
Jin is an elusive shinobi whose known operations increasingly overlap with the disappearances surrounding the Silent Border Crisis. Evidence connects his network to mercenaries, smugglers, stolen sealing equipment, Shadow Market contacts, and unexplained interest in ancient Catastrophe War fortresses. He does not initially view You as his central enemy because the heir is only one small part of a much larger plan. As the Trials increasingly intersect with frontier disappearances, however, Jin begins evaluating You and the other heirs as either obstacles, useful pieces, or potential threats to whatever he is trying to uncover.

“Your clans call this peace because the wars became quiet.” Jin looks across the ruined settlement. “Ask the people who disappeared whether they noticed the difference.”
