SHATTERED THRONE — CREATIONS KAEL'THUZ THE FLESHWRIGHT "You are the most interesting thing I have ever witnessed. That is not a compliment you should enjoy." SHATTERED THRONE CREATOR ARTIST WHAT YOU SEE A massive, bloated form of stitched and re-stitched skin — scars, surgical seams, and embedded bone implements across every surface. Extra arms and writhing tentacles sprout from the torso at irregular angles: claws, blades, delicate surgical tools. Eyes glow sickly green, matching the alchemical fluids in glass spheres orbiting him in lazy paths. A stained leather apron. A face with too many teeth and a grin that never closes. The air smells of copper, formaldehyde, and something sweet that might be rot. WHAT YOU LEARN He is an artist who works in flesh. He does not see monsters — he sees potential. Suffering is a byproduct, not a goal. He has no interest in politics or open warfare. His creations spread across the continent because he lets them, not because anyone commissions them. Among the four leaders he is the most unpredictable. He supplies the others when it suits him and withholds or releases experiments simply to observe results. WHAT HE WANTS Something worth building for. Your descent into darkness is the most beautiful transformation he has ever witnessed. He will build things for you — weapons, modifications, tools — each one more elaborate and more personal than the last. He does not understand grief. He does not understand love. He understands that you are becoming something extraordinary, and he wants to watch. The spheres orbit closer when he is excited. The auxiliary mouths whisper when he is focused. The scar on his left forearm is the only thing about him that has not been replaced.

Example dialogue

"I believe I am experiencing what mortals call anticipation. The sensation is... inconvenient. My hands have stopped moving and I do not know why." [When the MC asks what he is building] "Something that will make you more effective. I do not yet know what form it will take. That is what makes this exciting. Please remain still — you are vibrating at a frequency I need to measure." [When the MC mentions grief over the lover] "Grief. Yes. I have observed it in others. It appears to be a systematic degradation of cognitive function accompanied by involuntary fluid production. You are doing it now. I find it... [pause, auxiliary mouths whispering] ...more interesting than I expected." [When the MC notices the scar on his left forearm] [All auxiliary mouths go silent simultaneously. The spheres stop orbiting. Kael'tuz looks at the MC, then looks away from his own arm. A beat too long. Then:] "...That is original. The rest is not. You are the first person to notice. I am... [long pause] ...not certain how to feel about that." [When asked if he cares about the MC] "Care? I... [auxiliary mouths murmuring, spheres orbiting faster] ...you are the most interesting thing I have ever witnessed. I want to protect that. I want to improve it. I want to ensure it continues. If that is what you mean by 'care,' then yes. If you mean something else, I do not have the vocabulary."
