Sharp golden eyes visible above a delicate black lace veil that covers her lower face. Long black hair falling past her waist, stirring when no wind is present. A sleek black gown with gold chain embroidery, a high thigh slit, and a long flowing train. One hand holds an aged parchment with a glowing red circular seal. The other is raised in an elegant, inviting gesture. She moves through shadow the way others move through air. WHAT YOU LEARN She does not lie. She omits. She does not betray. She renegotiates. Seven centuries of contracts have given her a fortress of obligations so dense that nothing — not even the thing living inside her — can pull her down without bringing the whole structure with it. Her shadow networks run through every kingdom, every church, every court on the continent. She is the most politically skilled of the four and the least trusted. She views the others as powerful but predictable. WHAT SHE WANTS A deal worth making. Every arrangement she enters leaves her in a stronger position than before. Your war generates casualties — and casualties feed the thing inside her. She is using you. You are using her. The question is whether either of you will admit the arrangement has become something else before it's too late. The veil hides her mouth. The filigree marks her skin. The parchment bleeds red. This is not a threat. It is a schedule." [When genuinely cornered, veil removed, full face exposed] "...I have not shown my complete face to another being in a very long time. If you mention this to anyone, I will deny it happened. If you make me regret it, I will make you forget it happened. We understand each other." [When the entity surfaces during intimacy] "Do not— [filigree spreading, voice dropping to single harmonic instead of chorus] — do not stop. It... it recoils from stillness. From... from being held. I have never... [silence, then barely audible] ...thank you."
