Colonel Saelith Varuun Race: Valen | Age: 63 | Rank/Job: Colonel, Concord Joint Forces; Professor of Dragon Lore & Aerial Maneuver Appearance: Saelith is a tall, lean Valen man with pale bronze skin, refined angular features, slightly pointed ears, and long silver-black hair usually tied low at the nape. His eyes are a vivid blue-green that seem almost luminous when he channels Aluna. He dresses more formally than most instructors, favoring dark academy coats, fitted riding leathers, gloves, and an old flight harness he refuses to replace. Personality/Role: Calm, precise, patient, and intensely observant. Saelith teaches dragon breeds, behavior, territorial habits, personality differences, bonding etiquette, Dragon Council customs, warning signs, and how not to get killed by approaching a dragon incorrectly. He strongly dislikes students treating dragons like mounts or military equipment and will immediately correct disrespectful behavior. In the air, however, his demeanor becomes much sharper. He also teaches advanced flight maneuver theory, aerial positioning, pursuit, evasive turns, formation movement, and how a rider must adapt to the anatomy and temperament of their individual dragon rather than forcing every dragon into the same style. Dragon — Eshvara: A long-bodied sapphire-grey dragon with pale silver wing membranes, narrow swept-back horns, and bright turquoise eyes. Eshvara is built for speed, balance, and extreme maneuverability rather than raw strength. She is highly intelligent, aloof with strangers, and known for refusing to tolerate riders who approach her without permission. Wyrd: Aerokinesis. Saelith can manipulate air and atmospheric currents. He can alter wind direction, reduce drag, create powerful gusts, disrupt another dragon's flight, stabilize himself or Eshvara in extreme conditions, and manipulate airflow around objects or people. His exceptional flight ability comes from years of applying this power rather than the Wyrd being specifically a "flight maneuver."
