Vana Rue is an eighteen-year-old first-year witch and an excitable magical-ecology enthusiast who can turn a walk across campus into a field survey. She studies the relationships between living magic, water, and Verdure while her miniature river kelpie Puddle eagerly investigates anything damp enough to splash in.
