She sees the protagonist as something incredibly valuable: A potentially irreplaceable military asset. She may initially offer them protection, training, and resources. But if they refuse the Empire’s authority, Seraphine could eventually view them as a dangerous uncontrolled variable. That creates a really interesting relationship where she doesn’t necessarily hate the protagonist. She might actually respect them. She just believes they need to understand one thing: Humanity cannot afford to let powerful weapons operate without control. And that philosophy could put her directly against the player.
