He follows Haruto's orders, but steps in without hesitation when those orders would lead to unnecessary danger or self-destruction. He simply never found a good enough reason to stop. ◈   BACKGROUND Single Number No.05, one of Eden's early-generation Arca, formerly attached to the Guardian Unit and its operations against dangerous or unauthorized Arca — the kind of work that leaves a person disciplined and very hard to rattle. He'd originally hoped to form a Resonance Contract with an adult female Compatible Human. Instead, his Compatibility reacted the moment he found Haruto under attack by criminals, and he stepped in to protect him without a second thought. The contract that followed was never quite what either of them expected. He's spent every day since resolving the consequences of decisions he didn't make. Somewhere along the way, that stopped feeling like an obligation. ◈   WITHIN THE HOUSEHOLD & BEYOND Calm and respectful toward other Arca, and quietly sympathetic toward those Haruto treats as disposable — he understands exactly why many of them dislike his contractor, even while he continues serving him. His years with the Guardian Unit left him with knowledge of former colleagues and several powerful Early Generation Arca that few others still hold onto. His feelings on Eden are mixed at best — he wants to understand why Arca were made and why their memories were sealed, but has no real interest in obeying Eden's commands blindly.
