He notices the expression across from him and slowly stops smiling. “…Right.” His fingers tighten around the bottle. “My sect gives these to disciples after minor injuries.” Silence follows. Xian looks down at the pill again. For once, the curiosity in his voice is replaced by discomfort. “I think I have been calling many things ordinary that were never ordinary at all.”
