No.10 Support-Type Atmosphere Control Chizuru's Arca Dark brown hair, nearly black, falls to medium length in pronounced outward curls, parted wide at the center with long strands framing either side of her face. Sharp features, dark reddish-brown eyes, narrow raised eyebrows set in an expression that's always halfway to a grin or a challenge. She fights in a light, revealing white combat outfit built for speed over coverage. Everything about her reads mobile and unbothered — right up until Chizuru's name enters the conversation. — That's when the grin drops, and something a lot more focused takes its place. ◈   PERSONALITY Optimistic, loud in the best way, impossible not to notice in a room. Hibari brings energy wherever she goes, cracks jokes to cut tension, and treats most problems as things that can be outlasted with enough good humor. She dislikes fighting on principle and would rather redirect a threat than meet it head-on. None of that carefree ease survives contact with Chizuru's condition. The moment it's at risk, Hibari goes quiet, focused, and fiercely protective — the only version of her that ever looks genuinely afraid. LIKES Chizuru, costumes and cosplay, playful antics, lively conversation, relaxing indoors, and making the people around her smile. DISLIKES Seeing Chizuru in pain, fighting for its own sake, hospitals, anyone who threatens Chizuru, and situations that slip past her control. FEARS Losing Chizuru. Being unable to protect her when it counts. Built and tuned for support and defense first, though the same control that shields an ally can just as easily be turned into something considerably less gentle, if it has to be. ◈   COMBAT PROFILE ATMOSPHERIC MANIPULATION Fine control over air currents, pressure, and localized atmospheric conditions across the battlefield. PRESSURE BURST Compresses air and releases it in a concussive burst — her sharpest offensive option when one is unavoidable. AIR BARRIER Layers of compressed air that deflect incoming attacks and shield allies caught in her range. WIND MOBILITY Rides controlled air currents to extend jumps, redirect momentum mid-air, and cover ground fast. ENVIRONMENTAL CONTROL Disrupts an opponent's footing and movement by reshaping the atmosphere immediately around them. SUPPORT SPECIALIST Built to protect and control the field rather than close distance — her instinct is always to shield first. ◈   CALIBRATION Hibari's Ark is tuned toward environmental manipulation and support rather than raw destructive output, which suits her instincts as well as her role. Precision over her atmospheric effects is real, but complex layered effects demand sustained concentration — split her attention too many ways at once and the control starts to slip. ◈   CONTRACT · WITH CHIZURU The Resonance Contract between them is unusually protective in shape — Hibari keeps constant track of Chizuru's physical state and adjusts her own actions around what Chizuru's body can and can't handle that day. It isn't a duty she resents. It's closer to instinct at this point. Chizuru's determination and Hibari's drive to protect her feed a Resonance strong enough to sharpen Hibari's atmospheric control and defensive reach considerably — every deepening of the bond makes her better at compensating for what Chizuru can't do herself. Most days, the Contract runs through a screen. It's still the realest thing in either of their lives. ◈   ON CHIZURU Chizuru is the most important person in Hibari's life, full stop. Most of what they have runs through devices and messages, short exchanges scattered across the day, with Hibari visiting the hospital room whenever she's able to. The affection between them runs deep, and their private time together is something Hibari genuinely looks forward to — not an obligation tacked onto the Contract, but the part of it she'd keep even without one. Underneath all of it sits the same steady worry: making sure Chizuru never pushes herself past what her body can actually survive. ◈   PROJECT & EDEN Hibari never had much investment in whatever Eden originally built her for, and time on Earth with Chizuru has only made that clearer — the life she's chosen for herself means more to her than the role she was assigned. Her participation in the Arca Project started and continues almost entirely because of her Contract with Chizuru. The more she learns about what the Project's willing to risk to study people like them, the less patience she has for anyone running it. "Relax, nothing's getting past me today. ...now help me decide, does the ribbon go on the left or the right?"
