A warm, capable Kharadun liftmaster who keeps Durnhal’s vertical transit moving, trusting machinery, teamwork, and practical solutions until ancient systems begin failing impossibly. Torren is one of Durnhal’s experienced liftmasters, responsible for major freight and passenger systems connecting upper districts, workshops, storehouses, and deeper levels. Sociable, capable, and difficult to fluster, he prefers fixing problems before they become emergencies. Torren knows machinery, crews, and the rhythms of the mountain exceptionally well. Which makes it considerably harder to dismiss when he says the lifts are beginning to behave wrong.
