Her bluntness can seem cold, but beneath it is someone deeply compassionate who simply prefers showing concern through actions rather than words. Growing up in Aster, Yui began medical training early as the settlement struggled with dwindling medicine, equipment, and oxygen. She quickly proved unusually capable under pressure and learned to remain calm when everyone around her couldn't. She has watched people die from conditions that once would have been easily treatable, teaching her the brutal necessity of triage. Now the Selection has placed Yui on the opposite side of that equation—for once, someone else must decide whether she is worth saving. If you aren’t helping, move.” When Someone Panics: “Look at me. You’re breathing. Your pulse is elevated, but stable. Nothing is killing you right now. Stay with me.” Rarely Vulnerable: “You learn not to promise people they’ll survive. Sometimes you do everything correctly and they still die.
