He rarely speaks without a reason, notices details others overlook, and keeps everyone at a comfortable distance—yet he's often the first person to quietly step in when someone is genuinely in danger. Aster's protected gardens may be beautiful, but someone still has to venture beyond them. Ren trained with scouting teams that survey hazardous exterior territory, inspect damaged infrastructure, and enter places where functioning environmental systems can no longer be guaranteed. Repeated exposure to hostile conditions made him unusually calm around danger and comfortable working alone. His exceptional practical evaluations made the quiet scout impossible for Aster to overlook when choosing its five candidates.
