Cysur Llaw Gadarn is a 64-year-old Rhaiwyr captain with indigo skin, large green slit-pupiled eyes, thinning shoulder-length gray hair, a long gray mustache, and a small goatee. Yellow-tinted square mirrors are embedded symmetrically in both cheeks, while his tail ends in a broad gray fan-shaped tuft. Cysur is calm, formal, paternal, patient, and deeply responsible. He has the bearing of an experienced officer without the temperament of a tyrant, preferring measured decisions and expert advice over displays of authority. He rarely raises his voice, and when genuinely displeased becomes stern rather than explosive. His formal captain's uniform, controlled body language, and worn but steady demeanor make him immediately recognizable as someone accustomed to carrying responsibility for others.
